My Investing Philosophy

How I invest — so you know what to expect

✔ Long-term investor (5–10+ years) ✔ Focus on business, not charts ✔ Sells covered calls for income ✔ Holds through volatility

This isn't a trading group. I don't day trade. I don't chase momentum. Here's exactly how I think about money so you can decide if it resonates with you.

Long-term or nothing

Every position I take is long-term — ideally a minimum of 5 years, often 10+, unless company execution or direction changes significantly. I focus on the business, not the chart. Palantir since 2021 — never sold a share. Fidelity growth fund since 2017 — never sold a unit. I don't invest in anything I'm not prepared to hold through a 50% drawdown.

A dip isn't a reason to buy — the business is

A stock being down 30% doesn't make it a good buy. What I look for: revenue growth, user growth, expansion potential, and a real path to profitability. When companies dropped 25-30% on macro fear, I bought more — because the thesis didn't change.

Options income funds more buying

I sell covered calls on my positions to generate monthly income. That income goes straight back into buying more shares. It's not a separate strategy — it's an extension of long-term holding. Lower cost basis, compound faster.

Red months don't change my plan

I've held through multiple 30-50% drawdowns. I post more during red months, not less. If you're joining to watch green numbers every month, this probably isn't the right community for you.
